About Me
Hi my name is Gabriel Corral Cardenas (yes I have 2 last names lol) and welcome to my blog. Some of my hobbies include music, videogames, movies, coding, tech & self improvement.
All my posts here will be about personal topics that interest me and lectures/research that I did during a class or in my own time.
Some things that make me who I am.
I grew up in Mexico my parents never got along so I was raised by my grandma in an old school Christian household. (I'm on the far right side).
I moved Around a lot as a kid, I also never really stayed in a place for more than a year. My early life is kind of a blur but for most of it I spent my time going to school in Guamuchil, Sinaloa.
I finally settled in Fresno when is started my freshman year of high school, and have I been learning more about life since then.
My Future Plans
I want to learn enough to be able to program for fun, build things, solve problems all of those things seem like fun.
I am currently working in IT. Which is an ever evolving field in tech.
Learning is a lifelong journey, although sometimes I just wish I was able to know everything I need to move forward. Learning new technologies will take time and effort, and I will keep learning until I accomplish my goals.
Use the 52 or so weeks we get each year to keep learning more about programming & Information Technology.
I have been learning how to code on my own time and through classes at Fresno City College. Some great resources I have been using to solidify my programming fundamentals are The Odin Project and The University of Helsinki’s Java MOOC.
In my free time I like learning or playing instruments (usually guitar or piano), playing board games with friends, learning how to edit videos, and taking care of my dog Dexter. I can't go to bed unless I feel like I learned something new for the day.
